SEOUL – October 2nd, 2025 – Pulmuone announced that it will participate for the first time in Anuga 2025, the world’s largest food trade fair, held in Cologne, Germany from October 4 to 8 (local time). This participation marks a major step in the company’s strategy to accelerate its entry into the European market ahead of establishing its European subsidiary.

At the K-Food Pavilion, Pulmuone(CEO Woo-bong Lee) will operate a 70m² booth themed “Authentic K-Food, Crafted to Taste Good Feel Good,” highlighting Korea’s culinary heritage and offering European consumers an immersive K-Food experience.

The booth will showcase 45 products across categories including tofu, Asian noodles, K-snacks, and plant-based innovations. A large screen will play promotional videos introducing Pulmuone’s brand story and its representative K-Food products. Visitors can also enjoy tasting sessions of popular Korean dishes such as dumplings, naengmyeon (cold noodles), tteokbokki, and kimchi, as well as innovative products like soy noodles and plant-based bulgogi.

During the exhibition, Pulmuone will also host a ‘Pulmuone K-Food Zone’ at the flagship store of Edeka, Germany’s largest retailer. The company will spotlight products such as Tofu Tenders and plant-based Bulgogi, and plans to expand into Edeka’s retail network, making Pulmuone products available in major German stores within the year.

Pulmuone has already begun supplying kimchi, tofu, and fresh noodles to Asian markets in Germany and has introduced various K-Food products—including tteokbokki, hotteok, and bulgogi fried rice—in countries such as France, Spain, and Sweden. Moving forward, the company plans to expand both its product portfolio and sales channels across Europe, reinforcing its position as a leading K-Food company in the region.

A Pulmuone spokesperson commented, “By participating in Anuga, the world’s largest food trade fair, we are excited to introduce Pulmuone’s authentic K-Food and plant-based innovations to the European market while building strategic partnerships with leading global distributors and buyers. With the upcoming establishment of our European subsidiary, we will accelerate our global expansion and strengthen our competitiveness on the international stage through sustainable K-Food innovation.”

Pulmuone aims to establish its European subsidiary within the year, expanding its global presence beyond the U.S., China, Japan, and Vietnam. Building on the growing global demand for tofu and plant-forward foods, the company has been conducting product tests in major European markets since late 2023, using its U.S. subsidiary as a hub. In October 2024, Pulmuone made a successful debut at SIAL Paris 2024, where its innovative products received strong positive feedback from European buyers and consumers.

With over 100 years of history, Anuga is the world’s largest and most influential food trade fair, held biennially in Cologne, Germany. The event brings together companies, buyers, and experts from more than 200 countries to shape the future of the global food industry. This year’s Anuga is attracting even greater attention as South Korea has been selected as the official partner country for the first time.
