SEOUL – October 22nd, 2024 – Pulmuone, a leading Korean wholesome food company, is taking its first step into the European market by participating in the world-renowned SIAL Paris 2024, one of the world’s largest food exhibitions, to showcase its various sustainable K-Food innovation products.
Pulmuone (CEO Hyo-yul Lee) announced that it will present over 50 plant-based innovative products, including Tofu Tenders and Soymilk Noodles, designed for the European market at the ‘SIAL Paris 2024’ in Paris, France, from October 19 to 23.
Pulmuone operates a large-sized booth at the 'K-Food Leaders Pavilion' located in Hall 5B of the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, featuring 50 differentiated plant-based products to buyers and consumers from key European markets such as France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Additionally, Pulmuone hosts tasting events for strategic products like Tofu Tenders, Soymilk Noodles, plant-based rice balls, Gimbap, Japchae, stir-fried Udon, and Seoul Ramen, targeting around 1,000 visitors per day.

The 'K-Food Leaders Pavilion,' specially curated by the Korea Food Industry Association, is an exclusive exhibition space different from typical Korean pavilions. Nine Korean food companies are scheduled to participate, utilizing 63 booths in total. Pulmuone occupies the largest space, with nine booths (81m²).
During this event, six Pulmuone products were selected for the prestigious ‘SIAL Innovation Selection,’ the most of any company in the 'K-Food Leaders Pavilion.' The selected products include Soymilk Noodles, Tofu Tenders, Gimbap made from land-farmed seaweed, ion-exchange vegetable packs, soft tofu tortillas, and white fungus rice drinks, showcasing Pulmuone’s innovation and creativity in the plant-based food sector.

In a July press release, SIAL Paris highlighted Pulmuone's Tofu Tenders and Soymilk Noodles as key products that ‘redefine the food experience.’ Tofu Tenders were praised for their advanced manufacturing technology, offering ‘a unique texture and delicious flavor,’ while Soymilk Noodles were lauded for offering ‘a healthy and tasty alternative,’ preserving essential nutrients through innovative manufacturing.
